Green Belt Movement interviewed on Forest and Landscape Restoration Program

Laying the facts right about climate change is Green Belt Movement's Senior Programme Officer-Climate Change, Charles Mwangi. In this candid interview on KTN Kenya, Mwangi sheds light on this global phenomenon, breaking it down to the little things each one of us can do to curb the effects it has not only on our environment but also in our lives.

Through the Ministry of Environment, Kenya recently launched the Forest and Landscape Restoration Program, identifying and committing 5.1 million ha for restoration as a contribution to the African Forest and Landscape Restoration initiative [AFR100]. This is recognition of the forestry sector as a major carbon sink and priority area to move Kenya towards a low carbon, climate-resilient development pathway.
